MUSIC NEWS - BIG DAY OUT

  With late-breaking information (well late for us) on the Metallica Big Day Out. That is, the official line up as advertised by the band in all the major metal magazines. Here's Rob.
   
  Kerrang - Big Day out Stage 2 Joy

Kerrang have announced the line up for the second stage of Metallica's Big Day Out on July 10th. Starting at noon, the concert comprises of :-

  • Terrorvision (Headlining)
  • Monster Magnet
  • Pitchshifter
  • Symposium
  • Queens of the Stone Age
  • Mercyful Fate

A medley of Mercyful Fate (Danish Metal Legends fronted by the tight trousered King Diamond) songs was included on the recent Garage Inc. album from Metallica and apparently the band were selected specifically by Lars Ulrich of Metallica.

The bands confirmed for the Main stage are :-

  • Metallica (Well, what an exclusive eh!)
  • Marilyn Manson
  • Placebo
  • Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals
  • Sepultura
  • Creed

Naturally, we are hoping to be attending this event so expect to see a full review (should we remember any of it!) and photos (should we get any of it!!!) after the event (Should Freeserve not crack under the strain anyhow!).
