COAGULUS SPEAKS - USING HIS FINGERS!!!
Up to 9th November 2005SAD NEWS - RIP IAN GARY LARKE - 1969-2005
Around two weeks ago (exact date not yet confirmed), my good friend Ian and also former bassist for ToXiC Cocktail passed away. A tragically short life that touched a large amount of people (judging by the amount at the funeral). I met Ian around 8 years ago along with his fiance at that time, Nerys (who at the end had known him for around 16 years and been with him for most of that), in the original Bogiez in Cardiff which I frequented. We all hit it off straight away, in fact I stayed over their place that night. Although Ian and Nez split up, they and I remained all good friends. Ian helped me out many a time with my PCs (and vice versa!) and proved a great listener and drinking partner on many an occasion.
I attended his funeral along with Lauren, Nez and her mum and dad, Rob, my father, sister and brother in law along with many other people - there were not enough seats in the crematorium for everyone. I have been a bit down since the funeral but I will get better I'm sure. Many thanks to all of the people who have provided me with support over the last few weeks, Nez, Mum and Dad, Lianne and Kevin, Lauren, Rachel, Beth, Suzy, Dan, Kat, Dan, Donal, Dean, Phil, Martin, Crewy and no doubt everyone else that I've probably failed to list.
I had some great times with Ian and he will be sorely missed - rest in peace my friend.
