Other News
Went to the Karaoke on Wednesday again and Met up with Kirsty, Danielle and my old workmate
Ellie. I sang Smoke on the Water, Angels and then did a fun rendition of Baggy Trousers with Ellie
as I remembered she did a madness song on the previous Karaoke final!

Stayed with Lauren and RIchard on Friday and we drank beer, listened to music and played cards.
Cheers for a good night guys (and the transportation to and from Cardiff!) and of course for the
food in the evening and the pancakes (yum) in the morning. It's Laurens birthday this week but she
will be at the Reading festival so HAPPY BIRTHDAY and I'll party with you when you get back!

Apologies to Dan, Gareth, Jeff, Phil, Owain, Buddha, Claire and anyone else who was out on the
Saturday night. I had prior engagements and very little money so couldn't go. I'm very sorry.

On Saturday night Rachel held a get-together at her parents place in Upper Cwmbran. We had
plenty to drink (some wicked punches were made), food to eat from a barbecue and we played
games (even Jenga! YAY!) till the small hours. Cheers for a good night Rach. It was good to see
Dan and Suzi again as they've been off sick and I'd missed em! And Steven who had left where I
work a week or two ago. Hi guys!!! I finally got the nail varnish off (Don't ask!)

On Sunday I went to my parents place for food (thank you!) and spent the evening with my Sister,
Brother in Law and Nephew. We drank beer, watched films and had a laugh. Cheers. Also Lianne
made these great burgers which I gladly tucked into. Good one.

As for today, I'm feeling a little depressed at the moment but it might just be because I had a few
beers yesterday.
I think I let down quite a few people this weekend and I don't like to disappoint anyone. It's not
something I can consciously set out to do. It just seems to happen though. I hope a few hours in
work will cheer me up. But then again it is work. Perhaps coming back here will seem like a
blessing after eight hours in that place again. We'll see.

STOP PRESS - Went out with Dan and John and Sarah for a few beers after work - that seemed
to do the trick!
